Was Forsberg-Naslund duo best ever in WJC?

I'm assuming Forsberg and Naslund played on a line together in the WJC in the early 90's because their stats were through the roof. If they were a duo, were they the best ever? What were some other great WJC duo's of the past? My memory only goes back 8-9 years.

There were also a certain three from CSKA... Pick any two of them - and you have a duo

I guess I could connect the dots by looking at all-time stats and years players played. But then again, they may not have played together.

Can't believe Canada won a gold medal against these guys with Manny Legace in net.

Gretzky and whoever the hell he played with wasn't too shabby. What did he have, 22 points or something ridiculous as a 16-year-old?

EDIT: Just looked it up. 17 pts in six games.

I knew the number before but it's still insane.

I thought there was one game where they weren't, doesn't matter though. Phaneuf and Weber it is.

Thats my pick.

Better than Forsberg & Naslund?

Forsberg has the most points in the history of the WJC.

That record, 31pts in 7 games, will most likely never be beaten.

The best line in WJC History, without question has to be Mogilny - Fedorov - Bure. On sheer volume of talent, I'm not sure even Canada can put up a line that can go punch for punch with that.

umm ok, whatever you say, it´s easy to run up the scores, points doesn´t matter. Mogilny-Fedorov-Bure are classes above the Swedish line.

So did this thread inspire anyone to head over to Youtube to check out the footage of the Mogilny-Federov-Bure line? There are three separate clips of Mogilny's hat trick against Canada. Who the hell was the announcer? It's crazy to hear him ripping on those Russian kids like that.

Yeah that was who I had in mind. I remember they played together the following senior World Championship and were just as dominant.
