I haven't listened to the radio for music since the mid-1990s (yeah, I'm an old fart), but good music has a way of finding me. No, I'm not one of those people who is instantly on top of whatever is brand new like I was in the 1970s and 1980s, but here are 15 tunes in heavy rotation for me:

The Clash - "Bankrobber"

Lenny Kravitz - "It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over"

Jeff Buckley - "Grace"

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - "Love Burns"

Faith No More - "Stripsearch"

Radiohead - "Down Is the New Up"

Beck - "Chemtrails"

The Flaming Lips - "Pompeii Am Götterdämmerung"

Mr. Bungle - "Quote Unquote"

Led Zeppelin - "That's the Way"

The Ting Tings - "That's Not My Name"

Universal Hall Pass - "Dragonfly"

Nicole Atkins - "The Way It Is"

Genesis - "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway"

Neil Finn - "Hole In the Ice" (the studio version from "One Nil" [import] is much better)

I challenge anyone to find a better drunk song. My new life goal is to do the business with this song in the background.

I really like "Lazy eye" by "Silversun Pickups" right now.

I first heard the song watching this video;

Great video, the quote at the end makes it perfect.
It kinda reminds me of all the heartache it has meant beeing a Flyers fan over the years.
If we have someone on this board who is good with these kind of compilations I would love to see a similar video with a simliar song but featuring the Flyers instead.

I have had it now for about a month now, and I think 2/3rds of it is REALLY good. Much better than their last effort (which I thought was their worst studio album). Give it a few listens and you'll be hooked atleast on the first 5 tracks, if you are a big fan.
They are one band, I regret I have yet to see live (and are coming around soon) but none of my friends like them, and I am not going by myself.
