Mcguire's Man Crush 2010

Just a fun discussion topic on the first day of the tournament. Every year PM gets super excited about a player or 2 and spends the whole tournament gushing about them. Last year it was tavares, the year before Luke "the human eraser" Schenn.

So the question is, who will be the object of his affection this year?

I have 2 guesses. First is Jordan Eberle. Kid is a returning player, had some big moments last year and PM seemed pretty excited about him during the exhibition telecast against the Czechs. Second, which is a bit of a homer pick, is Travis Hamonic. I think hes been relatively unknown until this season but he has decent size, plays well on both sides of the puck and I think will lay a few decent hits during the course if the tournament.

What do you think?

Eberle is his No. 1 love affair. His other man-crushes so far seem to be: De Haan, Hamonic, Hall and Teubert.

McMillan, Hall, and Eberle on a line would make Pierre die with joy.

McMillan by a long shot so far.....

I still don't see the Hall - Messier comparsion??? Someone inform me on this....I don't see the nasty edge is Hall the Messier had, I don't see that intimidating leader when he speaks everyone listens, Messier didn't whine like Hall....I guess I'm just missing something.

He seems pretty obsessed with Hamonic.
