... Ivanans just had another good shift with Elkins and Segal. Aside from the blunder on the Aucoin goal, Raitis has been solid.

To be fair, that was a pretty big blunder.

... To be fair, he's the last guy on the bench. Look through the teams of the NHL and look at their last guy on their benches, and tell me those guys don't make blunders from time to time. That's why they are where they are. Again, your expectations are pretty unrealistic if you expect consistently solid hockey out of Ivanans.

I don't expect solid play out of him. I expect him to not even be playing at all.

The difference between those guys and Ivanans is the blunders...time to time for the former, and consistently for the Rat.

... Well, there was steady improvement in the second period. Hopefully the Kings are closer to getting their legs underneath them in the third.

... Consistent??? That sounds like an exaggeration, but again I just don't expect much from him and never have. He is what he is.

EDIT: Case in point, look at guys like May in Detroit, Peters in New Jersey, Brashear in New York, Janssen in St. Louis, etc.

On the latest milk carton, Kopitar missing, no where to be seen, 6.8million dollar reward... wait he's already cashed it in.
and in other news
Kopitar 's new nickname is Zamboni, he spends more time sweeping the ice than on his skates.

Is it me? Or does Latendresse look an awful lot like Stamkos?

I hate these stupid "lower-body" injury status updates, this is getting ridiculous.

... Kopitar and Smyth each have played over 13 minutes thus far and have one shot apiece.

Also it looks like Murray's going to do all he can to keep Frolov from playing on that top line. Fight the good fight, Terry!

Yes, because things went so well with Frolov and Kopitar together the past month and a half...

... Kopitar was more responsible for that than Frolov was. Anze's slump started way before Smyth went down, also.
