Pant sizing differences

Regarding the sizes for hockey pants, generally Senior small = 30-32 inches, whilst Senior XS is 28-30 inches. Junior large is 28-30" and extra large =30-32". (Based on Easton charts)

So why would I choose a Senior small over a Junior Extra-large? What are the other difference/s? Length of pant? More roomier overall in the senior?

I havnt worn or really look at Jr pants in a LONG time but i would imagine the leg length would be quite different.

with the adult xs or s compared to a l and xl junior you are going to get an extra 2 inches or so in pant length.

So for a female player, would a Junior XL be generally appropriate do you think? My sister tried on the L and found it too small (for a 29" waist).

tackla and some other manufacturers sell women's hockey pants (cut wider in the hips).

did a quick google search - here's one place than sells the women's tacklas (has sizes with waist in inches listed instead of tackla's usual european sizing - in cm??).

I have a couple pairs of the men's tackla pants - size 54 (for 36-38" waist) - regular and goal; really like them both.
