I highly doubt Canada can score over 9 goals against this Swiss team. They showed what they are capable of against the USA, but I still expect a 5 goal margin of victory for Canada.

I'm sad that Luca Cunti isn't of age.

Luca Cunti from Nicolas Gay!

Almost as good as the Erie Otters of 2001/02... Pecker from Boyes.

9 is too much, but it should be a clear Canada victory, the Swiss will be tired while the Canadians had a day-off and the Swiss didn´t look much good in the 2nd and 3rd yesterday and Conz will have to save them big time again today to make it a 3-4 goal difference game.

Switzerland's defense is significantly better than Latvia's, but they're likely tired, and Canada should be relatively fresh.

I think it'll go one way or the other: either the Swiss come out and play hard, knowing it's Canada, or the fresh legs get the better of them and we see Mischler by the end of the first period.

I'll say 7-0 for the Killer Canucks, and cross my fingers for another big game from Gabe.

The US should have won 7 or 8 to nil yesterday, I think Canada will capitalize on their chances. Certainly doesn't hurt that they're on a days rest against a team that really looked tired late in the game yesterday.

7-2 for Canada i guess.

Nino Niederreiter should be in the first line for our team...

Double digits for Canada, nothing for the Swiss.

Canada Pros:

1. Swiss tired from USA yesterday? and Canada is rested.
2. Canada had a chance to scout Conz and see where his weaknesses are.

Cons:

1. May be too over confident from Latvia and be surprised by Swiss talent.

Yeah, no way they're going to come out and say "well whatever, we rule and nobody else stands a chance." I don't think they score over 9 though.

Is it confirmed Jones is in net?

The Russians and the Swedes were the only one's stupid enough to say that.

There are some awesome names on that Swiss roster, especially NINO NIEDERREITER. I'm excited to hear what Pierre and Gord have to say about that one!!

Isn't Kadri on the 1st line, and Henrique on the 4th? Nazem was on the top line with Hall last game (and both of them were very good)

Good luck to you Canada! I'll be rooting for ya. I think an 8 or 7 - 2 win to the Candians.

I'm excited for this game. I want you guys to go undefeated and I obviously hope we(the US) goes undefeated because I want unbeaten vs unbeaten. Can't wait for thursday. I'm going to ask that you excuse any of my $hit talking on that game day thread. No hating but I'm pulling for you guys today. Good luck!
