That Whitney guy, you know the one from college? Yeah, he's starting on defense tonight with Brooks Orpik.

Forshadowing, anyone?

I hope Whitney scores one of the PP tonight.

Wouldn't it be amazing if Brooks & Ryan develop chemistry....

That would leave Noah eventually pairing up with Jackman or Noah in a couple of years.....or Scuderi (assumiung he resigs with us this summer instead of leaving as an UFA)

Our D oozes with Talent man........

Pens in 2006

Meloche misses a great chance, ouch. Pens going on the power play again though, and are taking the edge in gameplay so far.

Whitney has continued to play great, making a few noticable defensive plays and wreaking some havoc on Dubleweitz. Whitney's out there QBing the power play now too. But Bridgeport continues their solid penalty killing.

We need to bury some of these chances.

EDIT: AND THEY DO!!!!!!!!!!!!! BOILEAU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boileau almost scores again! Murley got tackled and draws a penalty. Let's bury this one too, and put them in the hole this time.

Why does Orpik suck in the AHL?

I was wondering that myself. He had a bad game in the home closer too. I don't know what's wrong with Brooks.

He said in an interview that it's harder to play because they don't follow systems in the AHL, like they do in the NHL. I'll find a link to the article eventually

I like Whitney's attitude.

"Playin' in the AHL is wicked hod."

Kraft with his second goal of the period, 2-1 Bridgeport now. This period has simply been a trainwreck for the Pens, most notably for Orpik.

Horror giveaway from Brooks Orpik. Huge goal for Bridgeport, not only in regards to this game, but the whole series. That, plus the Tigers scoring after being blatantly offside has to be a tough pill to swallow.

The worst part was that Orpik was out there for the very next shift. Just bench the guy.

"..you'll be cheering for the forwards, you'll be cheering for defense, you'll be cheering for an aftergame at Bennegans"

you have no idea how sick I am of that damned song.

CP spoke with Tom Grace during the intermission; said Mario is cleared to start skating (and play golf, more importantly ) and that he wants to play next season.

An infamous Whitney gaffe leads to a very early goal. 3-1 Bridgeport.

Dang, Whitney falls down after the puck took some type of wierd bounce and Bridgeport scores.

Geez. Talk about giving this team the game.
