If we could teach Mike Tyson how to skate... I only say Mikey because Kimbo would kick more and that wouldn't be good...

Gotta be safe lol..

Apparently Laraque was very inspired to play tonight due to what happened to Haiti. Good for him.

Well, in defense of young Georgie, he only plays like 2-3 minutes a game

Yeah, according to TSN there was a pregame moment of silence, along with revelation that both Laraque and Stars blueliner Maxime Fortunus are of Haitian descent. Didn't know that, and neither did Georges, apparently.

Quote:
Before the game, the Canadiens held a moment's silence and launched a fund-raising campaign for the earthquake victims. In a scoreboard appeal, team president Pierre Boivin pointed out that the city is home to about 100,000 Haitians and that two players in the game -- Laraque and Stars defenceman Maxime Fortunus -- are Montrealers of Haitian descent.

"It was tough getting into the game," said Laraque, whose parents are from Haiti. "What was going on there was going through my head.

"And to be playing against another Haitian -- what are the odds of that?"
If only Maxime had scored a goal or two as well!

You almost have to be trying to not shoot, to go 22 games without one.

Laraque has his occasional brainfarts like that knee on Kronwall but in general he's not a dirty player. In fact most Habs fans want to see him play with more of a mean streak. I know i do and wish he wasn't that passive 90 % of the time.

I remember when he was an oiler and one offseason he kept telling everyone he was gonna get 30 points the next season. Well he worked his ass off, on and off the ice and came up a point short. I thought wow, he set a goal and worked hard to achieve it. After that season it seems like didnt care at all.

Yeah I remember Georges used to be a solid player in his role. He needs to start eating meat again.

I don't think his diet is the problem...

I love Georges. He's not on a team to get goals.

50% shooting percentage

he should shoot more often

80 shots means a 40 goals scorer enforcer
