No, we won 4 games in a row on that long home stretch at the beginning of the season.

Pretty rare sight in the last few years to see our 3 top point getters doing better than Ottawa's top 3.

Anyways Go Habs Go!

and Cammalleri for 20 000th!

Strongest player in the league ask: « Can I beat the crap out of you in front of 20,000 persons, please? » and he expect to fight a lot and earn his paycheck.

As much as I dislike Brashear, Laraque should start emulating him a bit

AND MOTHER****ING YAY FOR GIONTA'S RETURN. I hope it will be the same for Hamrlik. Wow, almost a full roster for tonight, minus Mara and Hamrlik. We havent had one of those since the first week, it seems

i'd rather bgl plays, as useless as he is . lol. last game orr went after spacek, BGL got involved and orr was quiet the rest of the night. he must have realized he'd have to take his visor off and expose his black eye to BGL's left fist

Let's hope Gionta's return has the same impact Markov's did.

The Sens are depleted by injuries, let's hope the Habs don't make the mistake of playing it easy because of that. It can be a very easy game if they play 100%, but we know sometimes our team likes to make things a little complicated.

I say 4-2 Habs. Gionta gets one. Kovy will probably score one for the Sens.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone think the Habs are playing Halak to keep him rather than trade him? I mean since the whole media thing Halak has played 4 in a row, he has been brilliant, maybe he wants to stay in Montreal but was sick of sitting on the bench....My question, If Halak continues to win, say we go 7-0 on this road swing with him in net, does it become a situation where Price is the traded goalie and not Halak?

BGL uses those flowery invites, and no one seems to get them in the mail ahead of gameday...therefore, no fight...

I really don't see this happening.

I mean how many times in the past two or three seasons have we witnessed this? Halak goes on a rampage for two or three weeks, then it stop and he become his old-self: A very good number two goalie.

I do not have confidence in his franchise long-term with a Halak/Sanford tandem. Sorry 'bout that.

rds.ca confirms Gionta's return to the line-up.

Weeee... two dangerous units of PP will hit the ice, and will get even better with Hamrlik's return from IR.

I expect MTL to come out with a lot of energy.

Bah they actually fear us in their GDT, considering the return of Gionta and Markov, combined with out win streak... they are almost looking like underdogs this game with no Alfie and Spez.

I hope our players don't feel the same.

GIONTAAAAA!! Can't wait to see him park in front of the net screening the goalie.

Why Dagostini over Laraque? The Sens have injuries, they will have to play a gritty defensive style to win games and you can bet you will notice the presence of Carkner, Neil and Ruutu. Neil is gonna throw more elbows then ever, Ruutu will slash everything that moves and Carkner will just throw our forwards around without anyone being able to answer. I hope i'm wrong and that we can capitalize on our hot Powerplay and win this game injury free.

And back on the IL

He doesn't have to do that anymore, I hope he realizes that now. We need him healthy going into the playoffs and we're doing just fine now. In any case, the second line should be x-Gomez-Gionta with x being either Pouliot or SK, I don't know if this has been confirmed yet but in any case, all he needs to do is shoot on that line with 2 excellent passers and 2 way players (1 of whom has 5 pts in the last 2 games) he should be able to cheat a bit and net one or two.
