Both goals were perfect shots right under the bar, no goalie was gonna stop those...

Odd choice of partner to make a statement though.

(And I get that that wasn't the point).

hes a rookie goalie with 5 nhl games on his belt and you want him to stop not one but two penalty shots from one of the best players in the league... right....

Too many to count.

Semin has been far worse tonight, to be fair.

They make decisions that would get them benched on almost any other team.

I think the defense, outside of Schultz and Green, has a severe chemistry problem to go along with their talent deficiencies.

Erskine-Alzner and Poti-Mo just don't work. Pothier's return will be welcome.

I get that. I meant it's not a situation that says "captain" or "not captain" to me. Standing up for himself, showing some anger? Nice, glad to see it. I don't think it was anything deeper though.

That Ovechkin vs. Murray shift was a thing of beauty.

Alot of players try to put it under the bar on the backhand but the puck doesn't always lift enough to beat the golie. If you notice most pad saves in the shootout are due to the shooter not lifting the puck enough.

what a joke....it`s a total joke when the only player fighting through the defense and hitting is your star player.

Small matter, but don't give out a player of the game in a loss. What's up with that? In a loss, there was no player of the game. Always bugged me.

1982 is the last time there were two penalty shots in one game.

Well after a lackluster effort from the entire team, he was the one guy to step up and show some emotion.

We weren't very good, but gotta tip the cap to the Sharks tonight. They took it to us.

Loved that last Ovie/Murray shift. Some old school hockey there.
