Can't we just lock this thread? It's ridiculousness and pointlessness is pretty obvious.

I didn't think it was possible to play hockey in the kitchen.

If women were as good at sports as men they'd play in the same leagues and we'd care about them to. (Edit: That's not fair. I should have said, "if female pro athletes were as good at sports as male pro athletes." Plenty of women are better at sports than specific men.)

I mean that frankly, not in a sexist way. I believe men and women should be judged without regard for gender. That means if there ARE gender differences that show up by objective standards, we shouldn't compensate for them. In athletics, that happens to be the case. If it turns out that black lesbians just so happen to be statistically better at water polo when judged on objective standards of water polo acument, let all the pro water polo teams be black lesbians.

I say this without an ounce of pride because I'm sure anyone on the Canadian women's team can skate circles around me and then beat me up afterwards. But that's probably why I got no media coverage either.

Well, despite everyone else's negative responses, I actually enjoy womens hockey as much as the mens hockey.

Pointless thread. Something about the infrastructure in the media to cover the NHL makes it obvious.
