Well, Latvians fought as hell in this game, almost made it, but Swiss individual skill was obviously superior. Poor performance of the goalkeepers, though!

Men ! that what the only source i had ... i felt like they must have felt in 1950 when listening to the radio the football games ! actually it is quite thrilling.

They were not too critical ... the main talker was like the brazilian comentator when the swiss scored .... tooooooooooooooooooooor !!

not to many descriptions but emoooooooooooootions !

anyway we won ... and therefore diminish the odds to be in the underdivision next year.

I cannot comment anything on the Latvians ... except that maybe with a better goaltending ... things could have been different.

Has anyone studied the possibilities of SUI/LAT leaving the top division? Has SUI secured their place already?

SUI has not secured their place ... but if they lose tomorrow .... they will take with them the 2 point the made against Latvia ... therefore they will start the round against leaving the division with 2 points advantage. Therefore diminishing the odds of being relegated. Latvia will start with 0 points.

Should do it for Latvia, they'll be relegated.

Yeah, they'd need both wins in the relegation round, and I don't see that happening. Even when they get some offense, their goalies don't give them a chance. They're simply not good enough for this level.
