So AOWRanger gets one shot at the GDT and then you pull him…. You’re must be following Torts lead…..

Well what can a fan say after yesterday? I like the Canes announcer (not the blow by blow guy) so if I get HD on the Cane channel, that will be good…..

We’ll see if this team has some Moxie……. I looking for a hell of a rebound and a bunch of “where was this team yesterday” post once the game starts….

PS Happy New Year all....

There's a game tonight? Oh ****!

Last night was the first game I've ever turned off "early"... I watched the blowouts against SJ, Pittsburgh and Tampa... but that steaming pile of **** yesterday was too much to handle.

I won't waste my New Year's Eve on this pile of crap called a hockey team. So what if they can (barely) beat the punching bag of the NHL, they still suck.

Hopefully, I'll be dead drunk before game start and will fall asleep... Very likely actually. Happy new year folks, don't forget the annual trees migration tonight. Be careful on the road!

I'll DVR it.

Interested to see if these guys (save two or three of 'em) have some professional pride.

Actually felt a little sympathy for Tortorella last night.

Play Johnson again. Don't let this team ruin Lundqvists New Year's Eve. It won't ruin Drury's, anyway.

So did I. Torts is also one of the guys who deserve better than this.

Whether or not I leave to go out before the game ends will depend on the first period I guess.

Let's go Rangers.

Who are they gonna waive? Christensen?

The guys who should get waived are the vets who are mailing it in.... and we all know thats not going to happen.

Torts has alluded to the meetings with Sather coming up with lets see whats happening at the midpoint before we make any changes.

I laughed after the 2nd period last night when the MSG jumbotron showed the players with the most icetime

leading the Rangers after 2 periods --- Higgins

Too many times over the past few seasons have we heard the words "We weren't ready to play tonight" or "we better come out and be ready to play".

After hearing that dozens and dozens of times, the leadership of the team has to be seriously questioned. Coach included.

I just dont know what it is with this team. You have to expect a crappy performance like this a few times a season, coming back from a west coast swing, 3 games in 4 nights, 5 out of 7 or something. But this one has no excuse, 4 days to get up for a divison rival on home ice, who you are fighting for a playoff spot with - and coming off of a 9 out of a possible 10 point run to boot.

Its mind boggling. And its happened year after year. The lack of consistency runs up and down this squad and its extremely bothersome. To prove my point, the Rangers will come out tonight and play hard- and they might actually win. But none of it will matter. The only thing thats consistent around here, is that the same sad saps will keep watching and hoping - and you have to start to think when that is going to stop as well.

Yeah that's an interesting point. It's getting old.

Drury to me, dosen't seem like a guy that can really fire up a group... but then again I'm not in the lockerroom.

"It's a privilege to put this jersey on and play in this city, but I don't know if we know that as a team right now."

"It's a privilege to play for the Rangers and for these fans, especially. The organization treats us too well for us not to give a [expletive], which is exactly the way it was in this game."

Sean gets it.There are a few others, the rest? Not so much.

Playing for an Original Six team, the very bedrock this league is built upon should be considered an honor and a privilege and ******* it they need to start acting like it.

Fire Sather and by hook or crook get JD back here as the GM.
