Not that this is any surprise to anyone, but I thought it would be fun...

Gretzky scores!!! Shorthanded, midway thru the 1st period. McSorely and Kurri on the assists.

McSorely had a sweet play shortly before the goal making some slick stickhandling moves coming down the middle to get a shot on goal.

Ah, sweet memories...

Sandstrom finishes from a classic perfect tape-to-tape pass from Gretzky on the break. McSorely with the other assist.

Kings lead 2-0, still in the 1st period.

Macoun pulls down Granato, Kings going on the PP. Then Macoun punced on Granato, trying to get him to fight but Granato just took the PP. Macoun got up kicked the puck at the ref (not just trying to help the ref out, but kicked it at him), then he almost pushed the ref over as he skated past him. So many things I don't remeber from this game or didn't catch the first time around.

This is nice to watch. Kings in the playoffs and we don't suck.

Good times. Nice to see a bloodied Granato levelling Gilmour in open ice (even if he got a penalty for it).

End of 1st period, Kings 2-0.

Wendell Clark with the goal for the Leafs on the PP. Assists to Andruchuk(sp?) and Gilmour. Did you see that move Clark put on to avoid the check from Huddy? He curled up in a ball and skated right under the check against the boards, like he was going thru a tunnel.

Kings now lead 2-1. Nail biting time. I hope the Kings can hold on.

Dave Taylor on the penalty kill. Maybe he should lace 'em back up next season and help out our terrible PK.

Anderson scores for Toronto. Tied up 2-2. Another blown lead by the Kings (at least it wasn't a 3 goal lead).

Millen had Gilmour locked up behind the net, but Gilmour fought it off and fed Anderson right in front of the net. The Leafs have been dominating this period from the very beginning.

Game is slip-sliding away. Kings better get their act together or Toronto is going to blow them away.

(It's a slow Sunday)

Gretzky stops the bleeding with a goal, his second of the night, from a nice drop pass from Sandstrom.

Kings 3-2, midway thru the 2nd period. Gee... I hope Gretzky gets a hattrick.

I'm heading out... someone let me know how the game comes out.

Im assuming prime ticket was either pay per view or a cable station in SoCal (I live in Philly so I don't know anything)

Those were good days...

Remember how they used to call Shuchuk the "junkyard dog"?

Wasn't that Sandstrom goal the one where he took the shot on one leg... the broken one? Classic - he was tough!

I still don't like to talk about 93. The Bruins losing makes it even worse...If you know what I mean

It just goes to show that the better team does not always get televised.
