Greetings from Darz

i have been asked to explain why we haven't heard from Darz in a few days. Some of us may remember that his post count is at 7777. The fact that the Habs are a 7th seed, in a 7th game and needing contribution from the Habs with 7 on their sweaters, Ribs,Ryder,Markov,Kovy and Ward along with the ghost of Howie Morenz, and the fact that 7 is a lucky number, he selflessly stopped posting until the number's obvious good omen had run its' course. Darz is to be commended for his personal sacrifice for the greater good. of course Bruin fans could try and draw him out with insults, [go with jokes about his Finnish roots], though I'm sure as we all are that he will hold strong. he also said that any opinions I express are to be accepted as being gospel. Well, I added that part but the rest is true.

That's good news, McPhee. I was beginning to wonder about Darz, but in typical selfless habs fashion, he has sacrificed his own well-being (the company of his minions) for the greater good.

Darz, you will not have died in vain. Oops, I mean mortally wounded in vain. Er, make that severely injured in vain. Aw, what the hell, just have a good one tonight.

TSN just reported that he has taken a part-time job at his local 7/11 for today only & that he painted out the 11 on their sign with a can of red/white & blue paint. I didn't know they still sold that color of paint.

mcphee whispers, Darz just may be over the edge here don't give him ideas. Lucky he's in Thunder Bay and not near any 401 hiway signs. I think the Trans Canada just became the 77. Hey, in the 60's, Hal Paterson was my favorite football player, he wore 77, hmmmn.

Keep it up Darz, I'm sure you'll understand if I say that I hope you won't post before the end of the SC final.

Ah, but TBay is at the cross roads of highways 11 and 17. As you can see, one bears the lucky number 7 (lucky for all who are not bears) and the glorious number 11 (another player of Finnish decent, just like our Darz). Also, TBay has occassionally had bear problems inside the city limits, their practical solution is to tranq the bears, throw them in a trailer, and dump them off in the boonies. The real problem bears sometimes have to be shot and put down. Too many good omens here!!

I wore my Turgeon 77 to the game on Saturday—the two teams scored a combined 7 goals, resulting in a game 7. I also had 7 beers.

Coincidence? Probably.

Isn't that why Darz started Darz Inc (Darzian Cult) on the Lounge Board in the first place? To protect himself from unscrupulous Bruins mods? He's certainly got more than enough muscle (mods) in his back pocket to insure that the numbers would be changed back before any real damage could be caused...

Here's a link to a thread started by Darz, so we can monitor his post count.

Ahhh.... no Darz replies. Now we can talk about what a big Schmuck he is, without worrying about him replying. Just kidding. He'll probably reply. But Darz, if you're reading this... how about creating a new handle, like 'Darz's Finnish Grandmother' so you can post. Try and get 777 posts before tonight under THAT new name. Maybe you can borrow some posts from that Leaf fan, who had like, what 13,000 posts?

And so, Darz's Fininish Grandmother, I nevertheless salute you on your selfless act. I'm sure you must feel like an injured player, sitting in the pressbox and watching us post from the sidelines (that is, unless if mcphee lies and you actually took a vacation with Darz's Finnish Grandfather).

Lafleur thinks Darz went to Boston with the sacred pretzel.
