I have been able to confirm four teams that have thrown their hat in so far, though I believe s many as 6 may have. The four that I have confirmed to have made their interest known are Chicago, Los Angeles, Vancouver, and Philadelphia.

I have heard rumblings of Edmonton, Boston, Toronto, the Islanders, and Montreal...
So if Kovalchuk is traded, we can cross Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Philadelphia, Edmonton, Boston, Toronto, the Isanders, and Montreal off the list of possible teams. That's eleven out of thirty teams eliminated. You would have to guess the other SE teams are out, too. Which means Tampa, Florida, Carolina, and Washington would be out. Brings the number down to fifteen possibilities.

I cannot see how Montreal can fit Kovalchuk on the team....Cap wise, I cannot see it...

My favorite part is where he claims a team owner(Western Conference) said there is no way Ilya is staying in Atlanta.

Is there really an owner so stupid that they would talk to Eklund, much less commit tampering in the process by discussing the future of a player currently under contract?

He should continue to be ridiculed. It's what he deserves. If you want originality, provide it for yourself.

Don't get me wrong i'm not taking a shot at the boards im just saying a lot of the Eklund jokes around here have been stale for a long time, he SHOULD be ridiculed but what's the point of doing it every time the idiot posts something, it's obviously not making an impact on him...

No, he should be ignored. I'm sure he doesn't care that people make fun of him on message boards, he gets to sit around and post "rumors" and make a decent buck off of it. He's a pretty smart guy.

The people that actually go to his site deserve ridicule.

Agreed. I clicked the link, but it's the first time I've done so in some time, and I only did it so I could make my old, unfunny, recycled Eklund joke.

op only scores points for putting eksucks name in the title

other then that he loses points for actaully talking about the guy

One team owner in a Western city even told me, "He is not returning to Atlanta. Don't tell me how I know, but he isn't."

I LOVE how Eklund will throw Montreal in the mix... at the very end... just so that 1 million Québecois will go crazy. What a ******.
