Normally I'd have a tough time choosing between the Oilers and UFC but we're playing the Sharks so....Go Rashad!

Would be nice to see a Rashad vs Jackson match in the summer. A Silva win would wreck that. I like Silva but I think he may be a tad over-rated. We shall see. Sometimes a fighter never really recovers from getting their lights turned out like Rashad did.

It's a pretty weak-ass card after all the dropouts/injuries. I'll probably download the FOTN and KOTN fights later.

I don't like Rashad, but he'll probably win.

Sam Stout is my boy.

Pretty weak card outside of JDS and the main event. Rashad is a *****, I hope Thiago shuts his trap.

This is exactly why I want to see Rashad win. After watching TUF I would love to see Rampage pound on him.

Amazing fight by Stout. He beat the tar out of Lauzon.

Partway through round 2, and so far I'd say Evans has been winning this fight fairly handily...nothing earth shattering, but he's controlled Silva with a couple of takedowns and some good pressure. Like him or not, there's no denying Evans is an oustanding athlete.

I was impressed by his ability to keep his arm attached on the kimura attempt and his standup was better than the other guy but it wasn't a very impressive fight imo. He doesn't throw any punches with bad intentions and I think he'll be in trouble against fighters who do, top ranked guys will suck that weak stuff up to set up the big bombs. He's in Penn's weight class, isn't he?

I won't be paying for any more Rashad Evans fights, that was 15 minutes of my life down the drain. Next time he fights he should be on the undercard of a J Dos Santos fight.

They shoulda given a 10-8 round to Silva for the 3rd to make it a draw, realistically he did knock Rashad down and did the only real damage in the whole "fight".

Coward? give me a break, none of those guys going into the cage are cowards. How can you call that lay and pray? rashad just displayed superior wrestling and control, he took silva down but he didnt capitalize. thiago kept getting up but rashad continued taking him down. he won the fight according to the rules, first two rounds were dominated by him.

I agree that coward is too strong a word but imo Rashad just set the ufc back tonight with his performance. It's not the kind of thing peope pay to see. It reminded me of a Stortini hugfest from a couple years ago. The highlight of the fight was Silva mocking him with his hands down.

i agree that it was boring, but he did what he did to win the fight, its not the first time that someone has put on a boring performace in mma. styles make fights rashad decided he wanted to wrestle to neutralize the striking of thiago (and i believe it was for good reason too, he got rocked pretty bad). all i know is that if this rashad shows up against rampage hes gonna get ktfo

Yeah I wasn't quite as stoked to see him fight Silva as I would have been to see him fight T2.

I agree he had a good strategy, he did the same thing GSP did to beat Penn and Alvez, but at least GSP was still entertaining and did some actual fighting.

To be honest I wonder if Rashad joined the ranks of Liddel, Cro Cop et al... guys who are just never the same after a tough knockout.

If you are going into a cage to fight. You fight. Maybe coward is the wrong word, but he wanted no part of Thiago in the third round. He was afraid. It is what it is.

He will try to execute the same game plan in that fight. And he will probably wind up with a boring decision victory too.

Would you guys rather see Rampage vs Rashad or Rampage vs Thiago? If it wasn't for the ultimate fighter show I wouldn't even watch Rashad vs Rampage.
