ugly and lifeless does not start to describe it

The loss I can take--but the fact they look so lifeless to me is what I worry about

do they even care?

If Klown doesn't have the patience for a rebuild maybe he shouldn't have gotten the team to this point in this first place. I never thought I would despise a former Oiler that cares so much about this franchise but Lowe is coming pretty close.

As for the fans; what market WILL put up with a rebuild? I for one am amazed the Oilers still play to a 100% capacity crowd. If Calgary or Vancouver were in our situation their teams would be playing in front of scores of empty seats.

I think the Oilers could get away with one more year or futility, after that expect attendance to start dropping.

My point wasn't that the fans couldn't handle it, but that Lowe would be too impatient for it. He's shown it since the Pronger trade, he's too stubborn to admit failure and to blow up the core of the team.

ugly maybe....but lifeless? I didn't see that at all. They fought hard, they just don't have the tools to make a difference. And it starts with craptastic goaltending

It doesn't matter, it's another loss that lands us closer to 1st overall.

I really believe the Oilers don't want anything to do with the media. After what was reported on CTV Calgary, I wouldn't want to be near the media either. The media are going to have a rough ride with the Oilers for the rest of the season.

Got a question--I think we have hit a new low for post in the GDT thread this time around,

The total is what BBO, Me, DSF, RIN and Liquor get amongst ourselves in thread some games

He and Lowe are the two biggest culprits in this pile of suck.

This is what i'm more worried about than anything, THE EGOS of guys like Lowe and Katz admitting that they made a mistake putting this team together....
I have a feeling that Tambo knows that the team needs to be blown up but just doesn't have enough say when it comes to pulling the trigger on such a large overhaul, i hope i'm wrong and that Tambo shows some cohones.

I'm sure he has Quinn and the coaches on his side. Its pretty apparent to everyone.

I agree with you, and it's probably the biggest reason why this once-proud franchise is now a laughingstock.

I think it is time for the media to stop talking about overall injuries

Hemsky is the one is the big one--habby--JDD has the same stats as Habby.

Pisani and Map are third liners with comrie, When they mention games lost--they are adding Pisani and MAP like they would make all the difference---the games loss earlier in the year when the oilers had 1/2 of the top 9 out yes--but only the loss of HEmsky is hurting

WIthout hemsky certain players are being exposed as not being that good.
