Respect won

I've been off the board all weekend, so this is overdue, but I did want to say that the Predators did win one thing in their series and that's the respect of a lot of hockey fans. Games 1,2 and 4 were close, while game 3 was tipped much more in Nashville's favor. Barry Trotz did a great job getting his team prepared and they have nothing to be ashamed of. The Predators kept their cool in a high-pressure situation and never resorted to cheap shots or dirty play.

Another pre-series misconception was that the Predators are all hard work. WRONG! Definitely, Legwand, Erat, Ozargh and Hall showed that the Predators have a lot of talent to go with that hard work.

Nice job Nashville. I look forward to more exciting regular season and playoff series in the future.
