I do, but why waste gas to watch this team in uncomfortable seats? I buy the PPV's to support the team, but like Lowe said, I'm probably not doing enough to support this group and should go to the games and yell for nothing. I'd rather sit at home and watch kids play with heart and determination.

I've sold off most of my tickets for this year and I'm still trying to decide whether or not to pass the tickets on to my brother or continue on with them. This is the first time in 30 years I'm even contemplating it, which is pretty sad.

Who was the genius who decided to make this a ppv game on the the same night as the WJC gold medal game?

umm.. little easier said than done, my fault for getting specific in my studies. Anyone know of a petrophysicist opening? In Edmonton would be lovely!

I keep hoping that if I get more important around here I can start making outrageous demands for policy changes and they will do it for me. Maybe?

The funny thing about tonight's game is that usually I would call this a win before the team even hit the ice. Today, who knows.

This may sound horrible... but if we go on a winning streak I'm gonna be angry.

That's not horrible....

Finishing in the bottom 5 is like making the playoffs and finishing dead last and getting the top pick is like winning the stanley cup for this team.

I am predicting the least watched game in the last decade for the Oilers. I love that it's PPV. Nobody who didn't foolishly buy the season package should be buying this thing.

Go Canada!

I bet if you subtract all the people that paid for all the PPV upfront, the buyrate for tonight's PPV should probably clock in at less than 100$. Why this makes me giggle uncontrollably is beyond me.

Pisani returns. JFJ sits.

Penner - Horcoff - Nilsson
O'Sullivan - Potulny - Brule
Stone - Gagner - Pisani
Moreau - Cogliano - Stortini

They're rushing Pisani. There's no way he's game fit after that much time out.

I hope it's not because they feel he gives us a better chance to win now.

Oilers management and coaching trying to win? Naw... they're showcasing Pisani while he teaches Stone everything he knows.

Looking at the lines, its looking like another loss tonight, do they not know how to build a line?

IIRC, the Oilers made all the games that were not picked up by other stations PPV games.

The option otherwise would have been NO Oilers game at all.

I'll be missing tonight's game; which probably means they'll find a way to do something great just to spite me.

I know I won't be missing Hemsky or Comrie doing something amazing though, so that's comfort at least.

This just may be the first game I will miss since Centre Ice became available. WJC or not, i am getting to the point where I am wasting time watching this team. That is sad as a 30 year die hard fan. God I hope T-Lo reads these boards and reads this.

30 YEARS!!!!!!!!!

If I don't see a completely different team by training camp next year I am pulling the plug on the Edmonton Oilers. Enough is enough.

Coming into the season I was hoping for more balanced scoring from the Oilers. What I did not expect was that they would achieve it by having no one score.
