Saying Carey is on his game tonight seems right.

Good. He got tested a few times and made key saves.

Damn... how long is it going to take the Habs to score in 2010.

Oh of course. Call that but let a blatant tripping in front of your face go uncalled.

Great PK, kudos to Markov and Laps

Average first period. We had a few chances but the finishing was awful.

Looks like it might be another tough night for offense...good thing Price looks sharp.

Let`s hope that`s the one crappy period.

The newspaper kid in the antichambre commercial finally learned how to say "l'antichambre" instead of "l'antchambre".

I hope Cammalleri will get this monkey off his back. The guy looks tired right now and tries to find the other players on the ice way too much. He's got to go back to shooting the puck and taking good decisions.

Oh, and Pacioretty is doing nothing to help this line's play. Thankfully, Gionta is double-shifted so sometimes Pleks has two decent wingers to work with.

I'm going to be one of those people who's going to ditch their team's game to watch Canada win. 20 minutes 'til game time.

Shots on goal as per ESPN:

Habs 3 - Caps 11

I thought we had more shots than that.

EDIT: Some friends named "Pouliot"

I think Pierre Houde takes his job seriously so I trust him....well generally he's good. Sometimes he gets on my nerves. I remember against the Panthers he called Vokoun "Vokaoune", "Vo-cone", "Vokoune". That was annoying, considering he insisted that he had asked a Czech commentator how to pronounce Vokoun's name.

It would be very smart of RDS to show the USA/Canada game between the 2nd and 3rd period.

Well... maybe that's how Vokoun's name is really pronounced, and nobody's ever bothered to ask him. Everyone called Toni Lydman "Lid-man" for years; it wasn't until he went to Buffalo that we found out it was actually "Lewd-man."

RDS are not smart by any definition so I really doubt they will show it.

Really ? Another period with only 3 shots ??

This is the biggest joke. I've never seen a team have so many periods with such little shots. Montreal probably holds the record.

Very sad actually. Very sad.
