Model # of my helmet?

Is there anyway i can find the model # of my helmet? I've looked all over for it, but dont see any numbers on it. Reason I ask, i'm trying to fit a Bauer cage to my Bauer helmet.

The helmet is about 6 years old, but it doesn't look much different then the current bauer helmets. What are the chances of me buying a bauer cage that doesn't fit it? (Particularly the Bauer 920 deluxe)

You'd be better off with a ccm fm 480 cage instead of tha.... whatever it is.

Those are DUSTYYYYYYYY.

If you're going to buy one at your LHS, then just bring your helmet and then they will give you the proper one. I don't know what size my helmet is, but I just buy cages on how big I think my face is lol.

You may very well have looked, but make sure to look in between the padding on the inside top of the helmet. On my Bauer helmets there is a sticker there with the Bauer logo and the model and size of the helmet, inside the helmet, in between the padding on the top and the padding on one of the sides.

I'm looking all over the inside, nothing. I probably removed the sticker years ago and dont recall. Is there anyway to take the foam out of it and maybe its stamped in the helmet underneath?

I would imagine if you called the place you want to order from, talk to someone, they'll be able to have you take some measurements of the mounting points on the helmet and compare them to the shield you want and see if it will work.

There are only a couple things to measure up so shouldnt bee too hard at all.

A picture would help a lot. The bauer line of helmets are pretty distinct from each other.

Its not for everyone for sure. I do know a couple of guys that have worn them for years though... and honestly they'd look ridiculous wearing anything else at this point. I guess you get used to everything eventually.

Bauer 5000.

For future reference, when IDing helmets padding shots are much more helpful then exterior shots. Some companies use the same shell for several models, and they're differentiated by type of padding.

I'm totally relaxed brah...just saying, i dont really care what people think of how i look on the ice, if it works, then do it. I'm just looking for something with better vision then a cage, if I like this thing then i'll keep it, if not i'll sell it on ebay.
