Cleaning a visor (Oakley)

I recently purchased an Oakley visor and I'd like to know how to clean it. It says that it has a special anti-fog and anti-scratch layer on the visor and they recommend I use a special Oakley spray to clean it, to not ruin the visor.

Here's my question; how else can I clean it? I've heard lots of stories of people literally ruining their visor because they used something other than the spray. Can I just go with warm water and soap? and also, which side do I have to clean? both? only one?

thanks a lot.

Polish that **** every night with turtle wax. You want to look cool, so make sure it gives a shiny finish.

clean water. no soap or other bs otherwise you WILL mess up the coating. as for the antifog spray, just buy the oakley one it lasts a long time so the cost to value ratio isnt bad.

DON'T USE WINDEX! I have the spray and 90% of the time I just use water on a soft towel. You really have to baby Oakley visors for them to last and avoid the dreaded spider cracking.

Ok, so just water. Both sides? Do I just let the water run on the visor or do I rub?

if you are cleaning it, i would run it under water wherever it nees to be cleaned. if you are talikng pregame I would use the oakley spray (afr) use a soft towel to wipe the thing down after. not an old tshirt from your bag. like was stated before using other things will make the inside coating spider crack on you.
