i can find little to be disapointed in. leighton got the job done, and it helped that our defense look pretty solid.

i wish we could score on odd-man rushes.

The players tapping the sticks? Probably more of sign of team unity. They had a bonding session in the last day or two so it was probably a show of support, win or lose notwithstanding.

No, it would have to be Giroux in the middle. Legein played with Giroux in Juniors, and holy **** that line would be scary haha.

anyone else think its time JVR and Giroux trade spots? JVR has been solid, with a great effort tonight, and G seems to be gripping his stick into sawdust.

I'd give JVR at least another game or two to get his confidence back. He's not been great these last couple of weeks, and the increased ice time on Richards' line isn't going to help him. But if he continues to play the way he did the last 10 minutes of this game, he'll earn the extra ice time.

Im thinking its more Giroux playing subpar than JVR earning the promotion. It just seems like the entire richards line is missing chance after chance at ES

Why do people want to change our lines after we just won 6-2?

I remember when the Red Sox had a broadcast team of Jerry Remy and Ned Martin. I always thought Remy Martin would be the perfect sponsor.

I should get my self something like that...

Anyway, who is in the net tomorrow? Million dollar question. I feel like if Lavi did not pull Leighton against Sens maybe we would go to OT. Boucher.. stinks even against Cotsey.

By the way Cotseys corner has got to go.

Leighton looks shaky in my opinion. He looks over his shoulder so much since he never seems to know where the puck is. If the Leafs had any semblance of chemistry, they probably would have scored more than 2 goals.

I like that Leighton has been solid, but when Emery gets back, I'll breathe a sigh of relief.

It would have been perfect -- someone dropped the ball on that one!
