Game 43: @ New York Rangers, 01/06

Seriously Lobo, this is getting annoying.

-------------------------------------------------

Future Dallas Star, Michal Rozsival, raising his trade value

-------------------------------------------------

Lines from a GDT more professional than mine:

Dubinsky - Christensen* - Gaborik
Higgins - Drury - Callahan
Avery - Anisimov - Kotalik
Brashear - Boyle - Lisin

Staal - Rozsival
Del Zotto - Girardi
Redden - Gilroy

Evil Twin

* Indicates I lol'd
-------------------------------------------------

Today's the long-awaited showdown with the cancerous entity that takes up 2 million's worth of our cap space that we could be using ... um .... to get to ... uh ... 12 million under the cap!

We have been awaiting this, right?

Christensen actually has 4 points in his last 3 games since moving up to that line.

Extremely, extremely unlikely that he keeps it up, but he's playing very well.

Hopefully some hockey players show up this time and not the same zombies like at New Jersey. GO SLOTHS.

Man, Sloths would be great. They could bring back the green jerseys too and say it was moss growing on them.

The Dubinsky-Christensen-Gaborik line has 11 points the past three games since Prospal went down. Nevertheless, even Ranger fans are shocked by EC's play lately.

Good luck tonight.

What a dive by Lundqvist. Neal barely brushed by him.

Turco lets in a relatively soft shortside goal by Avery. Yikes.

if we're paying half his salary, we should get half that goal

its 1.5-.5

You can always tell when Turco's in net. No one mentions when Auld lets in soft goals, and there was ample opportunity last night.

Not that I watched the game yesterday, but Auld doesn't get paid top dollar to blow.

Auld ****ing sucks and lets in soft goals every game, it goes without saying.

Nice to see Wandell demoted to the spare line, and Barch back in the lineup after his pathetic performance in New Jersey.

Fire Crawford.

I guess I see salary as a decision made that can't be helped, so it doesn't bother me to see a high-dollar guy struggle as opposed to a low-dollar guy (especially when the guy in question is a UFA at the end of the year). You don't get extra goals or points in the standing because of salary.

Wandell got demoted because that line hasn't scored since he moved to center it. I love his speed, but an offensive dynamo he ain't.

Well maybe next season, if we're settling for mediocrity in net we can at least get a d-man to make up for it.

And Modano's line scored to get promoted? I thought players had to "earn their chances"?

Turco lets in another softie, Avery to Gaborik.

Benn once again weak on the puck in the neutral zone.
