Just curious to why people don't seem to like Christer Lärking back home, judging from the majority of the reader's comments in AB and Exp.
From what I saw in the tournament, he was excellent. The final game was a joy to watch, and I heard the Candian announcers give him the ultimate compliment on a couple of occassions when they said he is ready for the NHL.
Any thoughts?

It is hard for a referee to get popular in his home country. With so many seasons as he have there will always be a lot of fans who remember his "mistakes" against their team.

Lärking is good because he does whatever the hell he wants, not what the homecrowd wants. Which obviously has gained him some infamy.
