Great series, guys...

Well, congratulations guys. I thought the Canucks were going to pull it out, but Calgary was great. They overcame some great adversity and some craaaaaaaaaaazy bounces (though those really went both ways)...but damn, what an interesting series, and what an unbelievable ending.

And now, I'm going to go drink until the pain goes away.

I am glad that calgary won just so now we will see what Burke or whoever the GM is will do to change this team up.

Plus we didn't deserve to win that series at all. i was disgusted with the team after game 5 so i am glad the better team won the series.

Yep .... congrats to the Flames on a well deserved series win. Too bad someone had to lose, and even worse that it was my team

Good luck in the next round

Congrats to Flames from another Canucks fan. Can't question Flames consitent work ethic. (Still hate the Flame's constant dump and chase though )

Certainly was exciting. I'm an Avs fan, but like the DET-NSH series...it kept me hooked.

Last 15 minutes of the 3rd + OT was great...So much emotion.

Team showed great desire.

Thought Calgary was the better team overall. Sutter had the team in the groove and Iginla on top of his game. Right now he's a Conn Smyth candidate.

Good luck against the Wings

Has Saprykin changed your opinion of him BES?

Even thought the score looked dominate in the first game, the statistic that stuck out the most was the Canucks ineffectiveness in 5 on 5. That carried over through the remainder of the series. No player on the roster had a plus-rating through game 5.

The other noteworthy issue was that neither team enjoyed decisive success on home ice.

Don't tell that to a Canuck fan, they just won't accept it
FDW - here's to Regehr I think he has to get some serious consideration now for Team Canada

I dunno. I still think he's a headcase, but he showed a resiliency I never knew he had. Still, I'd trade him this summer as his value is probably at his peak

I'm just not a fan of the antics he pulled in the AHL last season.

What did he do again last year in the AHL?

Saprykin was a beast in this series. He played big, fast and strong. He was tenacious and he didn't let up. If he can use his puck skills and incorporate a Nieminen style game, then he could easily be the next Esa Tikkanen.

Congratulations guys. Just promise me you'll take a big bite out of the Wings even if they get past you guys. What made me mad was last year when Minny took us out they went into the next series and played dead. I watched a bit of the Nashville/Det series and I think Det looks ripe to be taken out. They look old and tired at times and can be beaten with speed and max effort, aswell as a healthy dose of physical play directed at their farwards; things the flames have in droves. And I'm sure clogging up the nertral zone will infuriate them more than it did the Nucks! Thanks for a very memeorable series, good luck the rest of the way. Shy.

Congratulations guys (from an Isles fan). Since my Isles were eliminated, I've decided to pull for the Flames the rest of the way. And what a good decision that was after watching a game 7 like the one last night. It's great to see the Calgary turning a new leaf and I hope they make it, at least, to the finals. Good luck!

Congrats. You guys have a great young team, and you totally deserved to win. I love teams like the Flames. Underdogs, that work as hard as any team in the NHL (the hardest, IMO) and have good size and skill, and great overall team toughness. I don't see how or why people wouldn't root for teams like this. Good luck against the Wings. I hope you kick their ass. There aren't many teams I dislike more than them...
