Every time I watch a Pens Flyers game it seems the refs let the Pens away with murder, is this always the case or are the games I've seen worse than normal?

Briere, Hartnell can not play D for ****.. Carter can't clear the puck..

We keep trading shots with Crosby and Malkin and we will lose.

They've gotten into a habit of holding onto those odd man rushes - confidence, I guess. They sure are generating a lot of them off the transition and some breakouts, too. Pretty neat, like a team on the cusp of getting back to playing well.

Great blind pass by Carter, excellent work of the rest of the team to stand around after the horrible turnover, and super job by Hartnell to get caught flatfooted and allowing the guy to get the open shot on that second Pittsburgh goal.

Pretty much the standard most of the games. I might be (hah) a bit biased, but it seems they're calling the Flyers for small stuff while letting the same stuff pass if it's a dumguin.,

That was a great shot along the boards when Carcillo got elbowed to the throat. I though for sure he was going to freak!

Yeah, not the team to get into a slugfest with.

I've really had it with the overpaid piece of crap that is Scott Hartnell.

First goal, Briere sucked defensively which you know is going to happen, but I enjoy Hartnell and Coburn both playing in the slot, no one protecting the net, absolutely inexcusable.

Then you go to the 2nd goal, you're getting let Matt ****ing Cooke get to the slot ahead of you while you stand on the boards with your finger up your ass?

Hartnell is on this team to score goals, win board battles, and play defense and I know he's my whipping boy and I apologize if I rant on him too much, but none of those 3 is even close to happening right now.

I expect it from the rookie (Bartulis) and the braindead guy making 1.2 mill (Coburn). I don't expect it from the guy who was brought in here at 4.2 to do a job and just isn't doing it.

Just got the lap top on, so I haven't posted anything or read anything so far this game...Two Things....

#1 - Danny Boy needs to stay on his feet and stop Diving like a little fairy. If you fall, you fall, no need for the antics.

#2 - That goal should be changed to Jeff Carter. It looked to me live that he got a piece of it.

Is watching Coatsey have to interview the mentally challenged the most awkward thing ever to anyone else?

He did a pretty stellar job (and you can tell he's a genuinely decent human being)... just so ****ing surreal to begin with.

DNFlyers

Cooke just said in the intermission - broadcasting on the big (really little, actually) screen here at Igloo- "Carter gave it right to me." 3 minutes ago from web
