I would say that this is going to be along the same lines as the Gionta injury as impact on the team. It's absolutely amazing how much bad luck that we've had with injuries this year. We have had only two players from the top six not miss any significant amount of time this year, I don't think any team besides the Oilers and Wings have been more impacted by injuries that we have this year.

Sweet.

It was fun having a healthy top-six for those 3 or 4 games this year.

Damn this blows. Perhaps try MAB on the first line? At least try someone who has a little bit of confidence right now.

History of Andrei Kostitsyn's carreer :

1- Slow start
2- Starts being productive and makes you dream he's an all-star
3- Gets injured long time
4- Gets back and is not the same anymore.

Yes, very good point. With Bergeron and Savard out right now, they are seriously hurting down the middle.

This team has 5 top 6 forwards without Andrei. MaxPac, Sergei, and D'Ago cannot replace Andrei's skill and vision. Only possible way would be if the Habs were to make a trade.

No cap room for trades.

MAB is softer than Scottie's little softies. That would be an epic disaster.

Are you serious? As a forward, MAB brings a lot of energy and he actually goes to the net and stay in front of the net... look closer.

...still, I wouldn't put him there, since his only asset is his shot and he's not a natural forward.

First, our best setup man in Markov gets hurt, now our only sniper in AK gets hurt. Whats next, our best goalie Price goes down with a season ending injury?

well we have 3 options
1. put ak on ir for those 6 weeks which will clear up cap space and when those 6 weeks r up we cud worry then
2. involve a player in the trade, thus sending some cap the other way
3. and my favorite one, buy out bgl's contract

I hope it's not true

man this season is frustrated and we don't have deep in this team.

D'ago or Sergei can't replace what AK46 do on the ice but let's hope one of them can step up and do a ok job.

expect Plekanec production to drop alot too

I don't think you can buy out a player's contract during the season... and even if it did, that doesn't clear enough space anyway.

Right now, there's nothing to do... and no ****ing bs about Halak for a top 6 forward, please.
