Halak among best in NHL.com First Stars

NHL.com chooses the top 3 players after each day. First star gets 30 points, 2nd 20, 3rd-10points. Midway through the Season Halak has already accumulated 110 points (3 first stars) and this puts him in 6th position infront of Marleau,Gaborik,Sedin,Luongo,...

I know that this isn't much but I figured it would be fun to share.

This just means Halak is forced to stand on his head every game.

NHL Stars? About as useful as the Molson Cup.

Awesome, that means we can trade him and BGL for Kovalchuk and some cap space

Price with 5 wins now against teams currently in playoff seeds.

Halak with 6 wins now against teams currently in playoff seeds. Might be 7 after tonight.

That BS argument has pretty much run its course.

Which is to be expected. He was a 9th round pick; obviously it's impossible he ever amounts to anything.

Good for Halak; that guy is always calm and he had to fight for his TOI.

Somewhat overrated feature of the game. Most of the time, the rebound is controlled by the defensive team who usually have five players close by versus 3 of the offensive team. Also some of the time the defenders go back up ice with a 3 on two break.

On the other hand, if one freezes the puck instead, we get a faceoff, controlled around 50% of the time by the offensive team.

Sorry is this the Halak fanboy/Price Hater club?

Great on Halak, he has played great and his place as the 6th star reflects that. Hopefully he can keep it up as this team needs all the wins it can get.
