User VladNYC told us that Vityaz not only don't know how to play, they also forgot how to fight. I answered thatt 95% of the team never knew this in thó first place. They usually act tough because they have Sugden and Verot nearby.
And the other 3 guys (Simon is no longer there) don't count? And besides that, Sugdan didn't really win his fight. Maybe 55/45 if any thing and Verot couldn't put a beating on Jagr so what is their use?
Garl stop arguing with me just to argue. Are you a Vityaz fan? No! So wtf?
And how did it happen that you fought Verot? On the video there are you standing near Verot and in the next moment he punches you in the face. As you were not ready for this punch you fell down. Then you get up and got a grip on him. It looked like Greco-Roman wrestling.
Jagr: "If you're a tough guy you should respect the honor code. There were people fighting around us and I was holding Verot. Then he told me: "Ok, we are done. No fighting". I released his hand and in a second he punched me in the face. I didn't see that coming and that's why I fell down."
Don't know if this is what you're looking for, or if it's been posted - but I found it interesting. Very detailed as well... just added that site to my bookmarks
What a ****ing idiot Verot is. When is the next Vityaz - Avangard game? I bet he leaves in an ambulance. This whole organization is a piece of **** and this is not even talking about the Cherepanov thing. The don't belong in the KHL. They don't belong in the Vishaya Liga, they don't belong any where. They must be dismantled.

I wasn't arguing with you. You said, Vityaz forgot how to fight. I said, that aside from Sugden and Verot and maybe a couple of other guys(who are nothing special in fight department)nobody there even knows how to do it. Think before posting please.
Sugden won the fight clearly, and what made you think I'm a Vityaz fan? The fact that I said that aside from 3-4 players they are not really tough? That's ridiculous.
Ha if I could only read Cyrillic(sp?) I tried looking on the team sites before, but could not find any English or button to make the page english. Darn Russians don't want anyone to read their stuff lol.
I'm kinda wondering, how the hell did they come up with all that if it was a huge brawl. Musta had some help from the statisticians to figure who was fighting who and whatever else went on. I'd be like screw it, just give everyone 5 min. for fighting and game misconducts and what have you.

Haha that is problem with KHL boxscores, you cant translate them into English. Completed games you can using google but not the boxscore I posted to you. The guys who do boxscores over at IHF give you this for penalties. (No ruling, just minutes handed out.)
Im guessing the refs took the same stance as you. Any number they saw on the ice got either 2+10, 5+20 or a mixture of something depending on what ref saw certain player do different things. Like Khramkov got a 2+5+10 or Sagden got a 2+5+20.

And Avangard has who? Svitov? 3-4 Players makes you the tough team in the KHL. That is how they are known and how they are built. If Vityaz doesn't know how to fight, then no one in the KHL can.
Other then Sugdan vs Svitov, they lost most of their other fights and Verot had to punch Jagr after he said the fight was over.
So my point stands is that they forgot how to play and can't even fight any more.
About what you'd expect. A few good scraps, a few hug fests, but overall fairly entertaining, at least until players started coming out of the box, and off the benches. My question is, what set this whole thing off?

Verot threw or shot a puck at a Omsk player because he crossed the centre line during warm-ups or something about a Omsk player crossing centre line. According to Bardin the brawl was staged and had been for awhile since Vityaz was ordered to do so.
