You have to admit you like seeing our "future PP" with Oshie, Berglund, Perron and Johnson (and Jackman). You also have to admit that if Murray were coach in a 4-1 game, we'd see Crombeen, Winchester and McClement on the PP. That's not a shot at those guys, but just being honest.

I love it.
Let's not get crazy now. McCromChester would have never seen power play time with Murray. Actually, with Payne here, I've seen both Winchester and Crombeen on power plays. I like Payne, but I'm just saying, with all the things you can pick on with Murray, don't just make stuff up.

I'm not trying to be all crazy and I didn't state that those guys got regular PP time. I said just in some games like this, they would get a few shifts here and there.
Either way, the Blues have got to hold on here. Uggggg..
Congrats to Coach Payne on his first NHL win...and to the Blues on a hard-fought slump-buster. It was a lot more interesting in the final minutes than I would have liked, but as we say in golf..."it's not how, it's how many!"
I thought Erik Johnson was really sharp tonight. It seemed every one of his passes went tape to tape and had some nice shots on goal and not over it. Oshie with a little luck (post and crossbar) could've had the hat trick. Was not thrilled at all with that last penalty on Jackman...after watching the replay, there was no hold on that play. Once again the refs costed us their nightly goal against. The NHL should really start every game the Blues play with a 1-0 score for the oposing team so that we could get that terrible call out of the way and call a fair game for once. Just glad the blues were able to nail down the win. Gratz to Payne for his first NHL victory!
for those of you who didn't get to see post game....payne said that crombeen is ok but mcdonald has an upper body injury that will need to be evaluated further...hopefully its nothing too serious, he's been flyin out there on the ice lately

That locker room video where Brewer gave the puck to the coach was awesome. I had to smile. Glad to see the Blues give a shot to a new Nhl coach. Don't know about you guys but I get the sense that Payne is going to be well liked by the players.

Winchester has seen PP time under Murray this season. Even had a PP goal.
check your facts before calling people out. Don't have todays stats but unless Crombeen had some PP time tonight, he hasn't been on the PP, neither has McClement.
