Apparently they sent all the camera angles for Gagne's waived off goal, except for one. The angle that showed the puck in was not sent.
The NHL is investigating Fox Sports Net Pittsburgh for not sending all available camera angles to league headquarters in Toronto for Simon Gagne’s apparent goal that was under review against the Penguins last Thursday, league spokesman Gary Meagher confirmed to the Daily News.
FSN Pittsburgh, who had the game’s only video feed, allegedly sent all of the camera angles of the replay except the one that clearly showed the puck over the goal line.
If FSN Pittsburgh was the only broadcaster of that particular game, and thus provided the only feed, you have to wonder where the NHL gets the feeds for the games that are not televised this year.
Certainly, they must have access to the broadcast shown on the jumbotron at the rinks. As a result of this, I think it should be the onus on the NHL to provide the feeds that are shown in Toronto, and not the individual broadcasters.
