They showed a very telling graphic that the Coyotes lead the league at 20-2-2 when they score first. Both that Vancouver goal and tonights goal would have obviously been the first goals of the game. Will be interesting to see how the rest of tonight plays out.

I like the idea of having Mueller and Yandle on the point on the PP, but they need to be inverted. They should be playing opposite sides for the one-timer. Especially with how Jelly likes to sneak into the back door area.

True but if you look at the stats across the league many teams have great records when scoring first.

The Sharks twitter game account just posted that they used to have many of those calls go against them....

The graphic showed that New Jersey was second at 20-3, but after that I think the third team only had like 12 wins (can't remember who). The Sharks only had 8 wins. and were top 5.

EDIT: Nevermind. They just showed the graphic again and I was WAY off.

Man, it's frustrating to watch the Coyotes grind and work and beat on guys for every inch and every goal, then you see teams like the Sharks, Wings, Pens that can just throw pucks at the net from anywhere on the ice and they bounce off 4 guys, the refs ass, the hot dog vendor behind the bench, and top shelf.

Down two after one... bah.

While the sky isn't falling, it's a lot lower than I remember it.

At this rate Burros won't be the only player this season to join the list of those who have problems with the refs.

The pass was in his skates.

Correct. If Prucha puts that on the tape it might have been a different outcome.

Is there an HD feed of this game? I'm beginning to think my provider only has a limited number of HD channels for Centre Ice. I get about 1/3 of the Coyotes games in HD if that...

Ericksson has at least three glaring turnovers already. It'd be nice if we could bury him in the press box, but until Jovo and Sauer can suit up consistently that just isn't reality.

I don't think tonight is our night. Crappy period. It will be interesting to see how they respond, but I think we might be looking at the third very sound loss in 5 games.
