We are just not the same team we were ..we used to make short small passes to clear the zone , now we cycle in our own end , but get beat to the puck ,which turns into a good scoring chance for the other team ....We turn the puck over way too much ....We don't seem to be the puck possession team we once were...

Hopefully Doan has another talk with the team ..

On a positive note Mueller looks like a totally different player tonight ..

Indeed!

I think it would be wise to put Bryz in net instead of letting this one get away.

GMDM keep your fingers close to that panic button.

I don't think it was a terribly bad period by any means. The two goals were cheap, but besides that we controlled alot of the play and forced them into some penalties.

This team though just doesn't play the same way when Babar is in net. They just don't have that same hunger. It's almost like they say to themselves "well we won't be expected to win this one so lets just go out there and hope for the best..." When Bryz is back there they throw themselves on grenades for that puck. You don't see that for Babar.

Of course it's probably tough to get motivated when you keep having your go-ahead goals disallowed every night.

We deserved a better fate that period, but we're losing the special teams battle and it's costing us dearly.

Why am I feeling some deja vu from about this time a year ago?

Agreed...This is a 6 game home stretch where we went 10 games w/o a loss , 11 in reg. We need to take advantage of this ...

..side note..good to see Dallas and Detroit losing .Hoping Edmonton can beat Nashville

We have hit a tough patch so far this month, but that has to be expected, we were playing at such a high level for a long time, a drop in play was due to happen. Lets just hope we can get back to where we were.

Watching Vandermeer and Lepisto tonight is like having a colonoscopy. You know you'll be ******** your pants at some point, but you just try to prepare yourself as best you can and move on.

Vandermeer has been playing pretty poorly since he's come back from injury.

What's with the passing ? Man! It's like the brain says "pass the puck " and the body says " Who me? "

These guys take forever to think about what to do ... Michalek especially ..takes forever to pass the puck ..we got to start crashing the net ..play old school hockey ..

Man ... thats over 3 goals a game for how many now ? Starting to look like last years team ... That is one good thing about having great starts though ,when you fall off ,at least you are still far enough up in the standings...but they got to get it together fast tho ..

there's going to be a meltdown here. elbows are getting high both ways and the refs are about to lose complete control over things.

That disallowed goal basically turned this whole game around. If we were up 1-0 I see us coming away with a W.

3-0 after 2. Were not coming back in this one. Maybe against the freaking Isles but not against the sharks.
