Daugavins up, MSP down

I'm surprised Fuhr didn't beat me to this. Lets see what he K-Daug can do.

I just saw this on the NHL Network ticker like 10 seconds ago and was surprised. Good to see Daugavins get rewarded though, as he's looked a lot better in the AHL this year.

Good for him, I didn't like St.Pierre much.

Wow. That might be the most surprising news I can remember. I knew he was doing well, but I didn't realize it was well enough to deserve a call-up.

Or are we gonna go through the entire AHL team, then move on to the ECHL until someone makes some kind of positive difference?

Should bring some energy to the team.

I would have liked to seen MSP play up on the top 2 lines...

One of my friends was talking to him and he said he was considering sending down the NHL team and calling up the AHL team, so you're not too far off!

For a second I thought we were in some alternate universe where we drafted Magnus Svensson-Paajarvi as opposed to Jared Cowen until I realized it was St-Pierre.

Shows why patience is a must with young players, has rebounded in a big way. His passing is really good too.

I wasn't a fan of MSP, and I'm glad they're giving Daugavins a shot. Let's see what he can do.

Nice, I have long liked the "idea" of what Dauagvins could be so I'm looking forward to his NHL debut!

I am aiming low, so I hope the kid can make an impact with the big team. That's it.

Hopefully they give the kid a shot in a role he's comfortable with.
Taking top line AHL'ers and making them play a 4th line checker/energy line is just bad coaching.

MSP and Keller were dead in the water before they got here.
