If you like fundamentally strong hockey and spectacular goaltending it could be exciting!

Either way this is a huge game and it will be interesting to see how we play against the best team in the NHL. Tippett and King actually yelled some at practice yesterday

It's tough to have the two conference leaders back to back like this, especially without Jovanovski, but hopefully we can get the win tonight.

The way the San Jose game started with the disallowed goal and then the fluky first goal for the Sharks was so deflating that it just seemed like nothing good was going to happen all night. I think if we can get off to a good start we can win, but it will definitely be a tough task.

It'll be interesting to see how the boys respond to their player only meeting they had after the last game. With Minnesota and Anaheim both making their way into the playoff picture along with everyone else the Yotes need to turn things around fast.

I don't see an HD feed on DirecTV Center Ice. That makes me sad.

Have you been watching Devils hockey the past 3 seasons? What snoozefest? You can't pull that Defensive stuff now. They have been one of the most exciting teams to watch with the amount of goals they put up. Do you even watch hockey or do you just listen to all the other Ranger fans who don't watch hockey either to notice. I guess you missed the last game against the Rangers where there were 96 shots total with no goals and that easily was one of the best games I have ever seen. Yea that game was real boring and real Defensive there. NOT!

Anyway on a better note. Lets hope for a great game because it will be and no injuries. Good Luck tonight!

This has all the makings of a stinker for the Devils. Coming off an emotional battle at MSG, one night off after playing four times in five nights, in a place they rarely play, against an angry team that wants to win. I can't remember the last time the Devils won here. I'd say the Coyotes score in the first 10 minutes and don't look back. I'll be there regardless. Good luck to you guys the rest of the way....after tonight!

We need to get off the schnide tonight, so I think the guys will be motivated, but if things start out like they did Tuesday we could be in for a long night again.

yea i remember a few years back when we still had gomez, it was his first game back from injury and we were playing the coyotes after some consecutive games, and we were flat as ****. i think the final score was 5-1, but if this team is looking to finally overcome their first round swoon these past few years, this is the type of game they need to win, a game after an emotional victory over our biggest rival.

Good luck tonight. I'll be in section 110. This is the only night of the year I'll be rooting for the visitors.

If you have to cheer for the Devils can you at least cheer for them to win in OT or shootout?

Lol too stressful after Tuesday night! Well a shootout isn't stressful. I could care less who wins at that point.

Considering I have been watching hockey most of my life (20 years) I know the difference. All I am saying is Jacques Lemaire's defensive minded system vs Dave Tippett's defensive minded system means a very slow game with alot of neutral zone turnovers and few quality scoring chances. I'm not just saying it solely because of the Devils. The Coyotes are a relatively low scoring team and both teams do not give alot up That game the other night was exciting because both teams decided to just keep it open and make it a track meet.

Maybe if you took two seconds to think about all aspects and not just about your Devils you would have seen the POV i was coming from. Would be nice if you didn't rip my throat out for it.

Man the Devils PR people did a bad job with their media notes. Not one word about Lou Lamoriello's induction into the Hockey Hall of fame this year. Fail.

Nice response. I had an encounter with a Devils fan saying that Kyle Turris being in PHX's system was unfortunate. I dont like em GO YOTES!

The Devil's top line has been putting up the majority of the points this season. Shut them down and it will be an interesting game.

I wasn't able to catch that game and I guess forgot about entirely. Happy to hear he's back, even if I'm a little late on it.

Pre-game is up....

http://coyotes.azvibe.com/2010/01/14...lah-blah-blah/

If the Coyotes can get back to their tight D ways and shutdown the Devil's first line, this will be a very interesting game.

He was back but he wasn't at 100% game speed/shape.
