Do you guys have an inferiority complex or what?

If people didn't consider Henrik a #1 C before, its likely because he wasn't. Geez.

The Oilers don't have a 1st line center, or a 2nd line center OR a 3rd line center. They also don't have an NHL goaltender, or ......gawd, nevermind - it's just too depressing to continue.

Not sure if I agree with your last statement about Malkin. When Crosby went down with injury last year or a couple of years ago, Malkin stepped up big time and played great, basically carrying the Penguins on his shoulders.

I'd take Jokinen off that list. And Arnott and McDonald are also border liners at this point imo. If guys like those are in there you might as well have Connolly, S. Koivu, Kesler, Bergeron and Zajac in there too. Those are just on top of my head. I think Plekanec should be in there though.

That would be odd since he was the 9th highest scoring centre last season, 13th the year before and 12th the year before that.

Seems like that would qualify him as a first line centre, eh?

In NHL 2010 my 1st line is Nash-Getzlaf-Kovalchuk. Good line yes?

I think Mike Cammaleri is a first line center.

Horcoff is making 7 million this year, he has to be a first line center.

Malkin plays best when the pressure is off of him? There goes your credibility...

For the record, the Sens have two 1b centres. Spezza is very overrated.

Briere is not a first line center anymore. No way.

I think you forgot Madden and Bolland on your Hawks list..

^ those guys win draws and thats something you want your centers to do.. Obviously those guys are specialists but I think either of the two could be adequate on the 1st line on some teams..

What the......??

As for Detroit, they don't have any first line centers right now. Just a couple guys masquerading as though thats what they are.

LOL. Not a chance. Both Madden and Bolland are bottom six players.

The Pens third line center Staal has 30 points. Almost all even strength. As much as I love watching him develop and play I have to think he could at least be a number 2 and get number 1 PP time on some teams.

David Backes is more of a first line center than McDonald is. McDonald hardly even plays center anymore.

That sounds frighteningly like the Oilers. Except the Oilers may not even have a true 3rd line center.

A centers job is to win more draws then they lose and Madden and Bolland win more then they lose...

Yea Malkin, didn't have any pressure in the playoffs last year and when Crosby was out of the lineup for 30+ games. Learn the game of hockey before you post.
