im not sure about buffalo. Roy and Connolly are severely underrated. the problem is the team plays far too defensively for them to (A) get exposed as good-great offensive players and (B) Connolly is never healthy.
Connolly actually average close to 75-80 points on average over the last couple years, except it doesnt show up on his stat sheet cause he's injury prone.
If buffalo wanted to drop Connolly, and he could stay REMOTELY CLOSE to healthy, Id move Geno to RW in a freaking heartbeat
Connolly finally seems to be turning the corner. Points in 10 straight games is a personal best and he's played 86 in a row as of tonight's game.
That said, I don't think he's a true #1 center. He and Roy make a solid 2a/2b tandem.
