Weren't you watching the cup finals last year? At one point Pittsburgh had like 13 skaters, two goalies and an equipment manager out there for a powerplay. No call.

That was a hell of a goal.

Not bad for your first one.

Ole-Kristian Tollefsen, he's actually on the Norwegian Olympic Team, but that probably isn't saying too much.

Gord Miller said something like "they requested to wear the whites".

Not really. Bozak was always the one with the better hands but Stalberg was much more NHL ready with his speed.

Yeah that was a sick goal. Always fun when a player scores his first on a great move.

Reminded me of Spezza's OT winner vs Theodore.

Gotta love burying a guy who has been playing lights out for the Flyers. Just to discredit a young Leaf, and his beauty first career goal.

What a gorgeous display of speed, and skill by Bozak. That top line looks good now, with a great combination of speed, skill, and some grit there too.

Considering the usual level of hype on these boards, saying that Yzerman was the last Hodgson is probably closer to the mark

Anyway, that was a very nice goal for Bozak. Here's hoping that he scores many more just like it (OK, maybe with some variation to keep it interesting).

The kid has some very nice potential. How about watching the kid play a game before judging him? kthxbi

bitter much? Your 3rd string goalie made you the hottest team in the league...

Sounds right. Apparently he had swine flu though and lost 13 pounds. Im sure that didnt help.

He's had a hard time adjusting to the pace of the AHL. He also dealt with an injury, and a bad case of h1n1, where he lost 12 lbs.

Some figure he's doing better in the NHL so far, because he adjusts to the pace better. And the AHL is more erratic than the NHL.

Either way, 4 points in 3 games, and a hell of a 1st NHL goal.

I agree entirely.

He didn't deserve to be First Star and the crowd booed when Vesa was announced as the Second Star, but I guess they wanted to give the kid something to remember. I feel bad for Toskala not getting the First Star, though.
