Good 2 pts. and I think the team will pull together after a win like this. They sure stuck up for each other, Simmonds, Richardson, and even little Moller slashed Ryan before going back at him.
What? Why would Ryan ever go with Ivanans? Why would Ivanans ever even go for Ryan? Do you smoke PCP? These are all questions I have that may never get answered.
Ivanans couldn't handle Ryan Carter... are YOU smoking?
Here's hoping Ryan gets what's coming to him. It's one thing to go after somebody at the end of the game it's another thing to go after somebody who is 5'10".
Either Ivanans throws down the gloves or we see Ryan helped down the tunnel before the end of the next game. That was just classless.
I understand the frustration but this didn't bother you when it was Ivanans against Carter, an even bigger size difference.
Ok I take the blame for the losing streak. My wife bought me a Taylor jersey for Xmas. I wore it tonight while watching the game. If I had done it three games ago the Kings would be riding a 4 game winning streak. Sorry
Ducks fans are the worst in the NHL. I know Hayward wasn't there to incite them to complain about the refs tonight, but they've been conditioned. How could you watch that play, at the end of the game no less, and feel it's not a total cheap shot. He skated halfway across the D-zone to lay a check on a guy who was already covered. Classless turd.

Carter was looking for a fight. If you go looking for a fight you've got to expect to go up against the other team's fighter. And a fight is much less dangerous than charging somebody into the boards.
For all of you saying Ryan is going to get his, who is going to give it to him? First of all, Ryan will drop with Ivanians because he can fight his own battles. Secondly, if someone goes after Ryan you can damn well guarantee that the Ducks will get revenge and then some.
If someone tries to cheap shot Ryan you can pretty much expect Doughty or Kopitar to be out for a while.
I guarantee you that Ryan doesn't drop the gloves with Ivanans. Ryan proved how much of a pu$$y he is tonight.
Now to the second part of your little spew. We know they would do that. That's the kind of team they are. They're gutless, sore losers. They proved just that in the last 10 minutes of the game tonight.
This is from the notes of the AP post-game article...
"Anaheim C Ryan Carter played in his 100th NHL game, but left with a bloody face with 4:40 left after an ill-advised fight with Kings enforcer Raitis Ivanans."
I know he hasn't been involved in fights, but don't forget his fresh stitches in his mouth.
It wasn't just his own battles. I'm talking about a lot of the team scrums too. I really hate how when everyone is attempting to get his attention he is looking around as if he's not being talked to and he's adding 1017 x 49. It's like a junior high altercation where somebody is talking **** while looking at the floor. He's giving out signals that he's nervous there. At least look at the guy in the eyes and say NO, I'D RATHER A PP.

no, we know its a cheap shot. thats why we love it.
Nice to see Quick finally get a shutout. He's deserved more of these. Also love the way he bounced back from his last outing.
No real gripes with anyone's play tonight except maybe Jones.
Scuderi was quietly great again. DD got a break in not having to play big minutes and Frolov and Brown had some nice chemistry going there tonight.
Loved how the first two goals were scored. Traffic in front, points from the shot with deflections. More of this and less of the constant cycling/perimeter play.
Ryan's hit was unnecessary and cheap but not nearly as dirty as most here are making it out to be. I'd be surprised if he was suspended but Campbell is so erratic with his decisions, we'll see. This play was very Iginla like. This is the stuff he always pulls when he knows the Flames have lost.
In a chippy game like that, Murray shouldn't have Moller or Richardson out there. I know he's trying to reward them for their play but you could see something like that coming from a mile away.

On the play in which Perry got the slash and the boot, Frolov was getting roughed up by two Ducks behind the net after the whistle and Captain Brown just sat there and watched.
Nobody can be surprised by this anymore. The man is a bonafide wussy.
...but a wussy who busted his ass at the, you know, "game" aspect of the game tonight.

I know Carter was trying to stir things up. I'm glad Ivanans took him on. But you can't complain about throwing a hit due to size difference and not have a problem with a clearly lopsided fight between our heavyweight and a middleweight on their team.
I know Ryan's hit was much more dangerous obviously. Be mad about that, I agree, but it shouldn't have anything to do with their differences in size.

the only thing that makes Ryan's hit nasty is that there clearly was a malicious intent behind it.

He was one of the first guys there and had ahold of someone.
