I answered "I don't care". Being geographically closer seems like a good idea, but I'm sure their are times when being isolated from the big team is a positive as well.

Overall, all I care about is that the AHL team has a positive effect on young assets.

Why would you say that?

I've been lurking here for a while now and had no idea he had a blog, but now that i know i'll definitely be taking a look when i can.
The information he posted was very related to the oilers, and keeps us lazy fans from having to do the research ourselves.

If you aren't interested in the information, then dont read it. Theres no need to be an ass to someone spending alot of time researching and helping us understand potential future oilers.

Thank you Bryanbryoil for the information, i've jumped on board the beggin' for seguin bandwagon, but either way im sure we will get a great player this draft.

P.s. i cant seem to find a link to your blog, would you post one for me?

No worries, I figured that since this was a stats piece more people than usual might enjoy it so I posted it on here. My blog link is http://bryanbryoil.blogspot.com/ I don't update as often as I use to but I think there's a subscribe feature or something where you can get emails if there's a new post there, or just keep coming to BB's great thread and she usually posts the link to my new posts.

When I was posting a lot I had a LOT more traffic on there. This is while I was posting way too much about Schremp, now it's more diverse and I'm sure that if I start doing it fairly regularly the numbers would keep climbing. It's just that I do it out of my spare time which hasn't been as much of late. But hey people can read what they want, I just thought that some people that wouldn't normally read my blog would appreciate this piece. And yeah people could just look this up if they wanted to do some math to break things down on top of the basic stuff on the OHL website.

He became physically ill when he was told that he would be starting next season in Springfield.

The Oilers are not going to have half rookies on their top 2 lines.

Why not? Who with the exception of Gagner might belong there?

They'll be 30 if the top 2 lines are half rookies. Will fans put up with another 30 place finish. I doubt that.

Chicago wasn't 30th when they broke in Kane and Toews in their top 6 were they?

But you have 3 rookies in the top 2 lines and that is a 30-place team.

Are those 3 rookies actually better than Kane and Toews?

Simply put, time will tell. IF we even get Hall/Seguin in the 1st place.

Yep. The only reason they made the playoffs then was at that time all you had to do was finish 10th in your conference to make the mini round of qualifying for the playoffs.

+1

If these players are so similar, why was Hall such a vital part of Canada's success, and Seguin not even on our team?
