So much for our amazing defense / system.

How many games in a row have we given up 3+ goals?

True, but the Wild have had a lot of lucky bounces in this game.

This is my fault, guys. I was going to pick up Guillaume Latendresse in my fantasy league, but decided against it at the last minute. Figures he'd have a ****ing hat trick that night.

On the other hand this could be the first game of the season where the team of a player with a hattrick loses a game this season.

PRucha puts it away

Yep, I'm glad they are winning a couple games here but this is troublesome over the long term.

Goal by Vrbata, even though everyone is throwing out there hats for Prucha! Well 10 goals in one game is pretty sweet, especially when you win.

Our Bipolar defense is getting a bit frustrating, but 2 pts is 2 pts.

Bryz is sitting back in his crease and not challenging the shooters as of late.

So, raise your hand if you had "the Phoenix Coyotes" as the answer to the question: "Who will be the first team to score 6 goals on Nilkas Backstrom this year?"

I guess like many, I'm asking myself, "what does it mean" to see the shoddy defense and average goaltending. At the same time, the Phoenix freaking Coyotes just gave up 7 goals in back to back games against Brodeur and Backstrom and came away with 4 points in regulation, including with some of the most impressive tick-tack-toe passing we've seen all year.

I'll take it. Bryz is a good goaltender, and he had two saves of the spectacular variety. Latandresse's third goal was put in a space of about 4 inches. He'll come back around. In the meantime, 4 points is 4 points.

Could be worse! You could be one of those fans tonight who tossed their hat onto the ice thinking Prucha scored the hat trick. Even I was shocked by it.
Another big win by the Yotes and Ill leave it at that.

Did they do nothing but passing drills in practice? I haven't seen them do that in... forever. Good thing the offense is heating up just as the seams are coming apart on our ramshackle D.
Jovo had a 4 point night.

Does it appear to anyone else that the defensive collapse has coincided with the arrival of Anders Ericksson?

THat display of not having paid attention to th eplay at the end for the 6th goal proved something I had noticed ever since I moved out here. The lower bowl has a bunch of morns that don;t know hockey and can't follow the play. Throwning hats for a hat trick that never happened... Prucha was 10-15 ft away from the puck when it went in and people still thought he scored it...shessh

Not really worried about it. Power plays are power plays.. shat happens on them. The one was a wash anyway since we got the shorty first...

If they had scored all of those on 5v5 I would be more worried
