He's never faced the man with the highest shooting percentage in the league. BGL!

Are the Habs be beaten again by a Brodeur in net ?

This guy is surprising. I just hope he looses his first tonight.

I hope they gonna keep an eye on Kovalev, Fisher and Neil. These three can kill us.

This is a huge game for us tonight, we need to pull away from them in the standings. Hopefully we win tonight to do that.

Good luck to that Brodeur guy, he's going to need it, he's facing Georges Laraque! 50% shooting average in the NHL.

Go Habs Go!

well big 4 point game tonight, hopefully we play more like the last 20-40 mins of the game against Stars than the first 20.

I see this being a very close game (probably OT or SO) unless the habs get a couple early against Broduer.

GO HABS GO!!!!

I root for the Leafs against every opponent but the Habs. My rooting doesn't make the Leafs a playoff team but their 4-0 win against the Flyers suggests they may not be a bottom 3 team after all.

He will come back and of course it'll be a confidence boost. However, the Habs should win anyway.

Does anyone else feel for O'Byrne. Dave Stubbs posted on his twitter this afternoon "Tough spot for O'Byrne. Goes home to be with ailing mother, returns to 2 healthy scratches"

It would be nice if the team showed some support and put him right back in there, it's not like Mara has been a tower of power (and I actually really like Paul Mara)

Agreed... This guy is our future, and he should be playing. I would love to see him along side Markov for a while, let's see what the kid's got!

I'm thinking they're doing it to give him some time to clear his head. Not sure if she did die, but even if she didn't, it's still on his mind. All we need is for him to mess up one play and get booed and then imagine how ****** he'll feel.

Pretty sure he had 3 shots last game, so I doubt 33.3% shooting is tops in the league.

Maybe they are giving him a few days to get his head back in order first, they see him in practice and so on, they probably know how to handle the situation.

If the Habs don't win tonight against a Senators team being held together with spit, duck tape, and cardboard in a blowout fahsion, the Habs deserve to be mercilessly mocked.

I hope the Montréal crowd (I am born in Montréal… I know you guys/gals can sometimes be a little bit crazy) goes easy with that Mike Brodeur guy tonight. Please keep in mind: that 26 years old guy is used to minor-pro leagues so, please, no “booing” nor “chanting his name”.

We don’t want to intimidate him.

Also, and now I am looking at you Lapierre, Moen and Laraque, stay polite with Mike and for the love of GAWD, don’t try getting under his skin.

I mean… this game is not really important:

… so let’s make sure Mike feels right at home.
