Voros aint a good player, but he puts the effort in, and seems to be a positive influence on the team and his linemates, and he plays aggressively and isn't scared to fight guys bigger then him (whereas brash seems afraid to fight guys smaller then him).

That's good enough for me, and it's not like brash has done crap all season anyway.

in torts' presser after the VS game (from NYR website because VS doesn't show them) last night said voros is a very well-liked person in the locker room and according to his twitter he is the team DJ, and best buds with avery and lundqvist.

If he can get the team into the game, that alone makes him worthwhile having, since this team has a problem playing with intensity every game.

The response his teammates had to his goal was all the proof one needs that he's well liked by his peers.

I'm not comfortable with him as a regular in our line-up, but I must say, he cares more about the success of this franchise, than Huggy bear. Easily.

i remember early in the season reading gabby say that he and voros were roommates and good friends in minny. not a top 6 player, but must be one hell of a guy. anyway, i never hate on any players that work their ass off on the ice.

Just reading Voro's twitter I love the guy and can tell he loves this team..but I feel that's very unfair to Donald.

How do you know how he feels about the team? He's always the first one to "root/pump up" or whatever you want to call it when the players hit the ice (as he stand in the doorway giving everyone a pound)......watching extra footage on the Gardentron he seems to always be fooling around with someone toward the end...usually Del Zotto...he gave him a shot a few games back and they both went laughing to the ice.....

Pretty unfair to label Donald, like him or not, uncaring of the the team and franchise. Even if he washed up that doesn't mean he lost his heart as well...

I'll take him over brash anyday.

2 players who basically do nothing, one of them gets his team into the game, i'll take that one.

To say Brash doesn't care about the Rangers is very unfair. He clearly cares about not only the team but how the fanbase feels about him considering what his family did for the fanbase, handing out souvenirs in the first week or so with the team.

I agree, he gives 110% every night and he's on the 4th line not the first, he deserves the chance to play...

Avery has friends?? I thought everyone hated him and he was a clubhouse cancer.

Voros is the man. I've been ruthlessly hard on him since he came here but I admire the guy's work ethic and passion. His contract is stupid, but he brings it every night and we could do worse for a spare forward.
