I would say that the roster is as good as last years team easily. Just because Carter and Comrie aren't there doesn't mean the team is any worse off.

I would argue that the roster is a lot better than last year's. They have Niedermayer, Morrison, Morrow and a bunch of other great players on the team that they didn't have last year.

Ouch, how did Hungary score 2 goals with Giguere and Denis, 2 NHL goaltenders, and a defence with Bouwmeester (WJC), Brewer (Olympics), Niedermayer (Olympics), Morris, I mean c'mon guys! If anything, I'd frown upon this game, like who the frick is Tamas Groschal and Imbi Petereriti?

Actually, Hungary scored 1 goal, Dan Heatley completed the hat-trick in the 3rd period (2 goals for Canada, 1 for Hungary).

Canada has never been the type of country that would go out and embarass the opposition, and I doubt they had any intentions of doing it in an exhibition game last night.

Apparently the only player from the Oilers who played is Horcoff. I don't think Niedermayer player either since the Devils were eliminated from the first round.

In that case, I'd say the result is actually pretty good. I'm hoping Smyth lights it up, we really need him to start scoring lots and lots of goals on a regular basis..
