Bryz is tired...you can just tell. PP now...maybe we could get a shot on net? No? Asking too much?

I hate these stupid kid casters. Mueller almost fired in a slapshot.

Asking too much would be to keep the puck in the attacking zone for more than 10 seconds.

In all fairness to Barber those 2 goals he gave up were not his fault.

Winnik is hurt and might have a separated shoulder.

Why is everyone so quick to call out Mueller on that one missed assignment but won't mention all of the other missed assignments by others that resulted in goals? I think he's been one of the few that are working hard tonight. Yeah - I guess I'm Mueller's lone defender.

Full of suck.

I'll watch the third, but it'll probably be another exercise in frustration. It'd be nice if the Coyotes started running around. They should be embarrassed right now, and they should want to take it out on the Sabres. Though, given that the league's disciplinary arm has been beyond unpredictable--the phrase "crazy as a ****house rat" comes to mind--I can't blame them for not wanting to take any risks just so they can knock some guys over.

People are getting on Mueller's case because his play has put him under a microscope. He's a finesse player who's struggling to post numbers, and many would argue he hasn't worked as hard as his teammates. Tippett himself once commented that Mueller needs to learn how to go all-in when he's on the ice.

I have quite a lot of patience for a young player who, through no fault of his own, was rushed into the NHL and is still trying to find his game. But when you're in that position, you can't afford also to be a defensive liability in what, at the time, was a close game.

Nobody is going to fight him. From the Sabres' standpoint, it would accomplish nothing. If any of them wanted to fight Biz, they would've done so earlier. It looked like maybe Biz just decided to be a little less careful with his stick than usual.
