Well. Another goal our 'tender could have stopped.

Let's go Preds!

Crowd has gone silent. They need to stay in it and rally the team.

so the Leafs cross Hamhuis and Klein up and then uses one of them to screen Ellis for the goal. Im not suprised.

Come on guys, where did that forecheck go?!

KK needs to get his head checked. He SUCKS

But, I will say this... I am damn proud of our guys tonight. They really battled back into this game. I applaud them, even in a losing effort.

Klein and Hamhuis both are minus three ... Who'd have thought that could have happened with such a solid pairing?

Need a shorty...

Klein has consistently been our worst dman ALL season long and still got the 3rd highest TOI behind Suter and Weber.

The Cube and Franson both +1 and less TOI again tonight. Hamhuis Klein were -3 and ruined our chance at the end of the game.

Thank goodness no more home games for a while! Can we play on the road the rest of the season?

So Ellis gets rewarded with a loss for almost saving Rinne's ###.

Well, we just lost to the biggest laughingstock in the Eastern Conference, but at least we can hold our heads high and say that all our defensemen played well, Rinne lived up to the expectations the organization has placed on him, and we gave a full 60 minute effort.

All kidding aside, it makes me a little sick that Ellis gets credited with the loss tonight when he didn't really deserve it.

Klein should be washing cars.

Where the hell were Sullivan, Arnott, Erat, and Dumont? Are we just going to keep playing Legwand in a "shut-down role" when we have games like this where we can't score to save our lives? Has Rinne really turned into Chris Mason 2.0?

I'm so tired of low line goals. Goc, Franson, Jones are not our scorers. Horny should not be leading this team in Goals. When are Sully, Dumont, Arny, Erat, Leggy gonna light the lamp? cause its' been awhile. And when will Klein and Hammer be broken up...****! -3 on 4 goals. I don't even wanna check the season record for those 2.

hey maybe Klein will be suspended for that knee on knee hit and we wont have to watch him cost us goals against for a game or 2

Yeah, but the coaching wasn't so great.

Looked like the GWG went off of Sully's skate as he screened Ellis...as it passed him it took a sudden sharp turn to the right...

The crowd sounded great tonight.

Also, is Ellis a UFA as well? He was solid coming in cold like he did.

Dunno. Sigh. Hopefully they''ll all rebound. Trotz has had to juggle those guys a bit and that hasn't helped.

I'm done blaming Klein. He plays ok with Bouillon. Klein seemingly needs a partner who keeps things simple, because maybe he just isn't that bright. It's Trotz who keeps trying to force the square peg into the round hole. Just as he's gone back to Legwand and Erat together.

A good comeback. I am very glad a good crowd was able to see that and have some fun. A few of our best crowds have seen some stinkers.

Erat had a bad 1st like everyone did but he hustled the 2nd and 3rd and made some plays. The other 3 however were invisible for the whole game. Except for getting in the way of the game winner that is.

Consider this...

Let's forget about the games played before OCT 22nd. Yea, the dark days when we had a 5-6 game losing streak.

Since then we've only had one (regulation) losing streak (VAN,CHI,CHI), and if we count O's, then one L-O 'streak' (CGY,MIN). Aside from those we have no other consecutive losses since Oct 22nd. We had a bad game. We rallied to get back on track and had Klein not taken that penalty, we probably could have come back to tie.

Call me crazy but I think we could have won had we started Ellis. What does bother me is that Trotz doesn't see an issue with a certain D-pairing. I think this was a damn good game. Props to Toronto for making things happen early and taking the W.

Well, I was taking past seasons into account as well, and they've actually won a Cup in the time I've been alive, so... yeah.
