So everything went the Thrashers way last night. Montreal lost, Rangers lost......... alhtough tampa has caught the pack with that win.

Will they step up and win a bunch of games in the row?? How many more opportunities does this team need to get into the playoff hunt....

Wow...Ottawa is starting to look like a lock. Looks now like 8 teams battling for 3 spots. It's going to be an amazing March/April.

Games tonight:

FLA @ WAS
BOS @ BUF
ANA @ TB

Ducks win but TB gets a point, do yourself a favor and go find the Getzlaf SO goal. Slow and steady, with some really nice wrist work. Very sneaky.

FL and Boston lose in regulation. Yeah! TB gets the point. Better then getting 2 points.

The KHL all star game was played today, Team Jagr (world) beat Team Yashin (Russians) 11-8. One of the goalies for Team Jagr, Michael Garnett. I could make a snide comment, but I'll let it pass. Good for Garnett making the squad.

Scratch tonight in favor of every night and we're a lock. We need to get hot like Ottawa and put some distance between the masses.

Couple games today, folks...

ANA @ FLA
PHI @ CGY

Looks like we're rooting for two teams with totally new looks. Currently, 3 pts. separates 6th and 13th....Insane!!

Split decision....

The Ducks helped us out tonight shutting out the Cats 3-0

The Flyers beat a VERY lackluster Calgary team 3-0 tonight. Not so sure trading with the Leafs for more offense was such a great idea for the Flames. The Thrashers could take some notes from this Flyers road performance. Stingy, stifling defense and capitalizing on chances when they present themselves.

Need to avoid 3 pointers on the top and bottom. I think we can elevate Ottawa out of the mosh pit. Their recent form has taken them to relative safety

Kovy not doing us any favors, Devs up 2-0 and the Flyers have come back with 3 straight with only 7 left in the game.

Jersey couldn't tie it with a 2 man advantage for the last 55 seconds.
