I tend to dislake a lot what TVA/Quebecor does... but I expect this show to be amazingly popular. Expect this concept to be sold in the ROC and in the US(for other sports)... and expect Les Canadiens to get a reduced media exposure in 2010.
The best part, is that a team from Quebec will be winning every Sunday night.
I really liked Making the Cut when it was on. I guess this is sort of similar with the amateur players. I'll be watching for sure, but I think it would have been better to have only the best players available, instead on insisting on having older players (up to over 50 years of age) and women on the show. Nothing against older players or women, but I guess that would prevent players from having a physical game, and also create a huge skill difference between 25 year olds who almost went pro and 50 year olds. I'm looking forward to see Bergeron and Carbonneau coaching again though.
Another crap reality show signed by TVA. I will not watch.
Good attitute!
Seriously, how will you know you are right?
My mind is open: I expect this show to be entertaining, but I could be wrong. To test this, I will watch it.
I know a few things because the brother of someone I know will play for Montreal. Apparently, there will be each week a player in the "doghouse"... I don't know if there will be any voting, but the end point is that they want to recreate the rivality between Montreal and Quebec... and I like it.
I don't get why they give chances to some already NHL-drafted guys. Anyway, I just hope to see one day a football series like that, or like Lance et Compte.
I wonder if Cammalleri will make a surprise entrance in the rink at a practice to beat the hell out of those who had a rough game/a rough streak... Would be a great addition to the show IMHO.

They'll have, someday, a surprise like that. Bank of it!
